For your non-profit website, I think Squarespace is a good fit.

With this builder you can set up subscription tiers and create a Member’s Area for your subscribers. You can also offer your event as a “service product” that enables people to pay for an event online. Lastly, for photos, you can display them on “Gallery sections” on your website to showcase past events.

If you're looking for another free builder, Wix's free plan is the best option, since Squarespace only offers a 14-day trial before upgrading. WordPress takes a little more time and research to find all the plugins you want to install, and costs can add up if you're not careful. I have a screenplay with hyperlinks I had posted on a free site but now it lacks a security certificate or something so people generally can’t access it. I’m looking for something that can replicate what Frontpage did for me a long time ago (post a lot of text with hyperlinks) and is compliant with HTML5 and will not present me with security-based issues. According to Wix’s official page on ownership disputes, the owner of a Wix account is the “person or entity whose email address is listed in our records as the login email.” So, if you don’t have access to the website yourself and the account isn’t in your name, it’s likely that Wix won’t be able to take it down.

However, you may have some options. For example, did you buy the site domain from a third-party provider like GoDaddy or NameCheap? If you login there and disconnect the domain, the website will go offline. Another way is to file a copyright claim if the site uses your text, photos, or logo. This can potentially lead to the site being shut down.
